BAROSSA ROSA has found the ingredients to success this campaign adding a second win and has settled into the race day routine nicely. The daughter of Adelaide has built upon her maiden win, with a solid run over the 1,200m last start at BM72 company where she settled just off the leader and stuck on for 7th (3.2L), her first time racing over 1,100m.

We took the 3YO filly back to the 1,100m in Class 1 grade, and she led from start to finish with a lovely rated ride. She found the lead comfortably from an inside draw and Reece Jones rode her beautifully, keeping a solid tempo, before pushing the button with 300m to go, holding off the late challenge to win by 1.5L.

A filly on the rise who has matured and looks set for a big future.
