TORNADO LIGHT headed into Quirindi Cup Day in good form rattling off back to back placings at Wyong and Gosford reeling off some slick sectionals.
But the Smart Missile mare delivered the knockout blow in the opening event at Quirindi. After jumping and settling, Andrew Gibbons showcased his experience shaking the reins with 600m to go and once our promising 4YO balanced up in the straight, she clicked through the gears to salute by just under a length.
