After a couple of runs on heavy tracks DRESDEN was fit and ready to fire, appreciating the soft track at Tamworth.
The Shamus Award gelding was taken towards the rear of the field from the jump and as the pace slackened and Mikayla Weir showed initiative to push forward racing one out and one back.
On entering the straight, Mikayla swung three wide and and it didnt take long from the him to reel in the leaders, and score his first career win, letting down powerfully to win by close to 2 lengths.
