LADY SUPERSPY hadn’t had a whole lot of luck this preparation, but that all changed fourth up on the home track.
After drawing a nice barrier, we were able to get a cosy run a couple of pairs back.
Mitchell Bell made the proactive move to race out in the 3-wide line with 800m to go. It proved crucial as they got on level terms with the leaders at the top of the straight. The daughter of Exosphere let down powerfully in the straight and saluted by half a length.
