MABEL started this preparation on fire, winning first up before a narrow second.
SInce then, we couldn’t quite find the winning formula in the three ensuring runs, without getting much luck.
After a qucik freshen up we dropped the Dream Ahead mare back to her pet distance of 1,000m and she bounced back with an emphatic win.
Sitting last for the majority of the race, she had plenty of of work to do at the top of the straight. Jason Collett was brilliant in the saddle finding a path for our girl to weave through and storm home late by half a length.
