It was a race to remember for all involved with our star galloper MCCORMACK as he brought up win number six down the famous Randwick straight. The son of Eurozone has been one of the real stalwarts of the stable, showing the will to win throughout his career which kicked off with back to back victories on the provincial circuit. His racing career continues to blossom and the win at metropolitan level in the BM88 Hcp (1400m) is a testament to all of the hard work that goes into getting more out of the horses.
Kathy O’Hara has been in fantastic form recently and from the inside draw was able to settle in a forward position after a swift getaway. The speed was genuine throughout and when the dial was turned up, he was able to switch over heels and tough it out against a quality field. This victory was no surprise to Tracey and the team and MCCORMACK looks set for another successful racing campaign in one of the most competitive regions in the country.
