In his first two runs this preparation, ONEMORE SAPPHIRE headed to the city to contest the midways, and was unlucky in his first up run, getting held up, yet still producing the best last 600m.
We headed to Port Macquarie third up today, the Onemorenomore gelding was brilliant. On jumping he settled at the back, and with 600m to go Aaron Bullock got moving along the rail.
On entering the straight, there was plenty of room to move for the talented boy to come through, and he knuckled down to the task in the last 200m to salute in a tight three way finish.
